After cutting a big chunk out of the parts car, separating the 5 sections, cutting them to the proper size, sandblasting and rustproofing them, they were finally welded in place. I still have to grind the welds down, but everything went in nicely. I would like to thank my friend, Wayne, for helping me (actually I was helping him), and teaching me many new things regarding body work. Next step is to replace the brace that runs underneath the car in front of the gas tank.
Underside brace welded in - The old one was rusted away in several places
Inner panel section of rocker panel area welded in
Section of floor tacked into place
Here is Wayne cleaning up some welds
